Neurodiverse in the office. How to design neuro-inclusive work spaces?

10.05.2023 / This is the first report of its kind on the Polish market! More and more often we hear around us such slogans as design for neurodiverse people or inclusivity. But what does this actually mean? Our team and our partners have been researching the topic for the past six months and have created a compendium of knowledge. In a nutshell, the idea is that our brains respond differently to stimuli such as smell, sound, light, colors, or movement. Some brains are particularly sensitive. These so-called neuroatypicals are about 15%-20% (according to global data).

Wondering why some people don’t want to return to offices after a pandemic? Perhaps it’s inadequate design (arrangement), is one more argument for the above group. It is with these people in mind that we created a report: Neurodiverse in the office. How to design neuro-inclusive work spaces? The report organizes knowledge and explains why you should? It provides tips on how to support neuro-inclusive people in work environments by improving spatial conditions. It’s a collection of illustrated, easy-to-implement solutions.
